This article covers the error messages you are most likely to see in TravelFlow and what to do about each one. Most have straightforward solutions that do not require administrator assistance.
“403 — Access Denied”
If your role does not allow a page, TravelFlow redirects you to an Access Denied screen that reads “You don't have permission to access this page.” Some pages instead show their own message, for example “Access denied. Please ensure you have accounting permissions to view fixed assets.” A permission problem can also look like an empty screen: the list simply loads with no records. See the Permission Issues article for how to check your role and what each role can reach.
“Session Expiring” and “Session Expired”
TravelFlow signs you out after a period of inactivity — 60 minutes by default, though administrators can change this. Sixty seconds before that point a dialog titled Session Expiring appears with a countdown and two buttons: Stay Logged In keeps you signed in, Log Out ends the session immediately. If the countdown runs out you are signed out and shown a Session Expired message reading “Your session expired due to inactivity. Please sign in again.” Unsaved changes on the current page are lost, so save your work as you go.
“Account is temporarily locked”
Unless a super admin has saved other values in the Login Security settings, five failed sign-in attempts within 60 minutes lock the account for 15 minutes. The login screen then shows “Account is temporarily locked. Please try again in N minute(s).”, or “Account is temporarily locked. Please try again later.” when no wait is stated. Retrying does not shorten the lock — wait it out, or ask a super admin, who can see locked accounts and unlock yours straight away from the Login Security card. The Login Problems and Account Lockout article covers this and the other sign-in blocks in detail.
“Too many requests”
Some server actions are throttled per user, notably hotel search (20 per minute), server-side exports (10 per minute) and imports (5 per minute). Each action counts separately — a hotel search and a flight search do not share one allowance — so you only see this message by repeating the same action. Exceeding a limit returns “Too many requests” with the message “Rate limit exceeded. Please try again later.” Wait a minute and try again. See the “Too Many Requests” and Rate Limits article.
“Failed to generate PDF”
Quotation, invoice and voucher PDFs are built in your browser, so a failure is almost always local: an interrupted page load, a very large document, or a browser extension blocking the download. Reload the page and try again, and try a different browser if it keeps failing. Incomplete company settings do not block generation, but they do produce a poor document: when no company name is saved the header prints the literal words Travel Agency, and unset address, contact and registration fields simply print blank. If a document shows that placeholder or a missing address, ask an administrator to complete Admin > Settings > Company Settings and generate the document again.
“Failed to load… Please try again”
Pages that cannot reach the server show a message of this shape, for example “Failed to search hotels. Please try again.” Check your internet connection, confirm no firewall or VPN is blocking the site, and reload the page. If it persists across pages, the platform or an upstream provider may be temporarily unavailable.
