TravelFlow is responsive and usable on phones and tablets, but some work is easier on a larger screen. This article describes how the mobile layout actually behaves and where its limits are.

Mobile Navigation

Every area of TravelFlow — consultant, private, portal and accounting — uses a sticky navigation bar across the top of the screen; there is no sidebar. On narrow screens the menu links are replaced by a hamburger button at the top right, next to the theme toggle and the notification bell.

Tapping it opens a panel directly beneath the bar rather than a full-screen overlay. The panel scrolls, and its sections (for example Bookings, Documents, Analytics) are collapsed: tap a section heading to expand it, then tap a link. The menu closes by itself once you navigate. There is no swipe gesture that opens the menu.

Reaching Your Profile on Mobile

The profile link is part of the desktop navigation bar only, and the mobile menu does not repeat it — it ends with the navigation sections and a Sign Out button (the consultant menu also lists Notifications and Support Tickets). On a phone, open your profile by typing the address directly, for example /consultant/profile or /private/profile.

Responsive Layout

Dashboard cards stack vertically on narrow screens, and most wide tables scroll sideways inside their own container rather than stretching the page. Buttons and toggles are sized for touch. Note that date fields use TravelFlow's own calendar popover rather than the phone's native date wheel — tap the field, then pick the day from the calendar.

What Is Harder on a Phone

  • Wide accounting tables and multi-column reports need a lot of sideways scrolling.
  • Screens that accept file uploads — bank statements, accounting data import, supplier payment attachments — show a drag-and-drop area. Dragging is not possible on touch, so tap the area to open the file picker instead.
  • Long booking and finalization flows involve several forms in sequence; a larger screen makes them easier to review before submitting.

Recommended Mobile Browsers

On iOS use Safari or Chrome; on Android use Chrome or Firefox. Keep the browser updated. If multi-factor authentication is enabled on your account and verification fails in Safari, try Chrome — see the Browser Requirements article.

Important: Adding TravelFlow to your home screen creates a plain shortcut only. There is no offline mode and no browser push notification support, so the shortcut still needs a live connection and you will not receive alerts while the app is closed.
