Several screens can push accounting data out of TravelFlow — for your accountant, for another package, or for a spreadsheet check. This article covers where each export lives and what it produces.
Exporting Transactions
Go to Accounting > Transactions > Data Import and open the Export tab. Choose a format, optionally set a from and to date, then click Export Transactions. Six formats are offered:
- Sage Pastel — for Sage 50cloud Pastel (South Africa).
- Sage Cloud — for Sage Business Cloud.
- CSV — Excel compatible.
- QIF — Quicken.
- IIF — QuickBooks.
- OFX — the bank statement interchange format.
The download is named for you and the number of records exported is reported when it completes. Leaving the dates blank exports everything available.
Exporting Journal Entries
On Accounting > Transactions > Ledger, the Export button downloads the entries currently showing as CSV, one row per line item, with date, entry number, reference, description, account code, account name, debit, credit and status. Filter the list first — the export follows your filters.
Exporting the Chart of Accounts
On Accounting > Transactions > Chart of Accounts, use Export Chart of Accounts in the Quick Actions panel. It downloads a CSV of code, name, type and balance, dated in the file name.
