Generating and Scheduling Corporate Reports

Administration > Analytics is the interactive view of your organization's travel spend. It reads your travel requests for a period you choose and compares them with the period immediately before.

Choosing the Period

The dropdown in the header offers Today, This Week, This Month (the default), This Quarter, This Year, and Custom Range. Choosing Custom Range reveals start and end date pickers. Every figure on the page, including the comparisons, follows this selection.

The Four Tiles

  • Total Spend — spend for the period and the number of travel requests behind it.
  • Avg Cost per Trip — average trip cost, with the average booking lead time in days.
  • Policy Compliance — the compliance rate and the number of recorded violations. The tile turns amber below 90%.
  • Budget Utilization — how much of the available budget the period consumed.

Each tile except Budget Utilization shows the percentage change against the previous period of the same length, with a green arrow for a favourable move.

The Breakdown Tabs

  1. Spend — the trend over the period.
  2. Department — spend split by department.
  3. Category — spend split by travel category.
  4. Travelers — the top travellers by spend.

Exporting

The Export dropdown next to the period selector produces a PDF, Excel, or CSV file of the current period, named with today's date.

Tip: Figures come from travel requests and their estimated or actual costs, so they are only as good as what travellers enter. If departmental splits look wrong, check that the Department field is being completed on the Budget step of the request wizard — it is optional.
