For most roles, a dashboard is the page you land on after signing in. Each dashboard is built for one role, so the numbers, tables and shortcuts you see are not the same as the ones a colleague on a different role sees. This article describes what is actually on each one.

Which Dashboard You Land On

TravelFlow sends you to a landing page based on your role:

  • Consultant and Consultant Admin → /consultant/dashboard
  • Organization User and Organization Admin → /portal/dashboard
  • Accountant and Accountant Admin → /accounting/dashboard
  • Super Admin → /admin/dashboard
  • Private User → /private/search — there is no private-user dashboard; you land on the search page instead.

Organization User and Organization Admin share the same portal dashboard. The page does not branch on which of the two roles you hold, so both see identical cards and tables.

Consultant Dashboard

The header reads Consultant Dashboard and carries two buttons on the right: GDS Booking and Add Client. Four stat cards sit at the top:

  • Active Clients — how many clients are assigned to you.
  • Monthly Bookings — bookings you created since the first of this month.
  • Revenue (MTD) — the total value of those bookings.
  • Cancellations — cancellation requests still pending on your bookings. The card turns red when the count is above zero, and it is the only stat card you can click; it opens /consultant/cancellation-requests.

Below the cards is a Recent Bookings table showing your four newest bookings with booking reference, client, type, destination, status and amount. The rows themselves are not links — use the View All button in the table header to open the full bookings list.

On a wide screen a Quick Actions panel appears in a right-hand column with Booking Queue, New GDS Booking, Add New Client and Create Quote, followed by a Suppliers card with a View All Suppliers button. That column is hidden on narrow screens. In its place, a two-by-two grid of tiles appears at the bottom of the page: Search, Quote, Reports and Itinerary.

Organization Portal Dashboard

The header reads Organization Portal and carries a New Travel Request button. The four stat cards are Pending Requests, Approved, Total Budget and Budget Utilized, all calculated from your own travel requests. None of these cards is clickable.

When you have approved requests that do not yet have a booking reference, a green banner appears above the cards saying how many were approved. Expand it to see each request, then use Book via GDS or View Booking to act on it, or Dismiss all to clear the banner for this session.

A Recent Travel Requests table lists your five newest requests with request ID, traveller, destination, status and date. On wide screens the right-hand column holds a Quick Actions card with View All Requests, My Bookings, New Travel Request, My Documents, Travel Policies and Department Reports, plus a Policy Compliance card that is currently a placeholder.

Accounting Dashboard

The header reads Accounting with the subtitle Financial Management, and carries New Transaction and Generate Report buttons. The stat cards are Total Assets, Total Liabilities, Net Income and Cash Flow, all in rand and all calculated from your organization's chart of accounts and posted transactions.

Each card shows a small change indicator in its top-right corner. All four read --, because TravelFlow does not store historical snapshots to compare against. Cash Flow is the cash movement over the last 30 South African days, today included.

Below the cards come Recent Transactions and Account Balances. On wide screens the sidebar holds Pending Tasks, a Quick Actions card with Record Payment, Create Invoice, Financial Reports and Data Import/Export, and a VAT summary for the current month.

Super Admin Dashboard

The header reads Super Admin. Six counters run across the top: Total Users, Active Users, Inactive Users, Organizations, Consultants and New This Week. Below them sit a role distribution breakdown and a Recent Activity panel.

Recent Activity is a read-only list of the ten newest audit-log entries — who did what, to which record, how long ago, and whether it succeeded. The entries are not links; use the View all audit logs link underneath to open /admin/audit. This activity panel exists only on the super admin dashboard.

Two grids of large cards follow. User Interfaces jumps into the Organization Portal, Consultant Interface, Accounting System or Private User Portal. Admin Tools covers Pricing & Markup, Consultant Permissions, User Management, Organizations, Company Settings, System Settings and Audit Logs.

Getting Back to Your Dashboard

The product name and icon at the top-left of the navigation bar is a link back to your own landing page, whichever page you are on. The navigation bar itself runs horizontally across the top of the screen; on narrow screens it collapses behind the menu button on the right.

Tip: There is no refresh button on any dashboard. The portal dashboard subscribes to your travel requests and updates its cards and table on its own as requests change. The consultant, accounting and super admin dashboards load their figures once when the page opens, so reload the browser page to pick up newer numbers.
Note: Stat cards show a label and a value only. They do not show a comparison against a previous period, and — apart from the consultant Cancellations card — clicking one does nothing. Use the navigation bar or the quick-action buttons to open the underlying records.
