The Travel Docs tab is a private reference list of your passport, visa and insurance details, with their expiry dates. It is a note to yourself — nothing here is sent to a supplier or used to fill in a booking.

Adding a Document

Go to Documents > Travel Docs and click Add Document. The form has four fields:

  1. Type — Passport, Visa, Travel Insurance, National ID or Other.
  2. Name — A label you will recognise, such as SA Passport. This is the only required field.
  3. Number (masked) — Optional. Only the last 4 characters are kept.
  4. Expiry Date — Optional, so you can see at a glance when a document runs out.

Save Document adds it to the list. Each card shows the type, the name, the masked number as ****1234, the expiry date and the date you added it.

Tip: The full document number is never stored. If you type a whole passport number, only the last 4 characters are saved — enough to identify which passport you meant, not enough to use.

Removing a Document

The trash icon on a card deletes that record after a confirmation prompt. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone — add the document again if you need it back.

What This Tab Is Not

  • It does not upload or store scans, photos or files — only the details you type in.
  • It does not pre-fill bookings. Checkout takes traveller initials, surname and email from your account, not from here.
  • It does not notify you before a document expires. Check the expiry dates yourself before booking international travel.
